Everything else about the stay was great: the staff were amazing, the bed was unbelievable and I had the best sleep in months. The bar team made perfect cocktails every time, and the front of house staff were so friendly. The one letdown was the shower, its barrier was already broken and the water pressure was very low. Still, I’d highly recommend the hotel and we’ll definitely be back.

We’d booked another place to dance, but ended up staying at House because we were having such a good time. There were 27 of us for my sister’s hen do last Saturday, and the private upstairs room turned out to be amazing, with our own bar and toilets. The food was stunning, and the staff were really accommodating despite my mistakes on the preorder form. The two bar staff were fantastic, and even joined in the fun. Jennifer accommodated us again. Honestly, an absolutely amazing night, 10/10 recommend. Thank you guys, Fiona

Peter looked after us so well when my friends and I went to House for a birthday boozy brunch today. He was hilarious and kind. The location was fab, the food hit the spot, and there were plenty of great drinks.

The bar is gorgeous, and the staff there are both talented and kind. Everyone was fantastic, and this was a wonderful place for a short weekend escape. Thank you.

A good hotel for the price. It’s around a 10-minute walk from the city centre and just around the corner from the Botanic Gardens. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and there’s a 24-hour concierge. The bar and food were really high quality.
