The room was a decent size and the location was good, but the atmosphere was really depressing. Sound carried badly between rooms, and the TV didn’t work at all. For this price you can find much nicer places. I’d only consider staying here if everywhere else was booked.

Housekeeping came into my room even though I’d specifically asked them not to. When I was leaving with loads of bags, the front desk guy refused to raise the barrier so my taxi could enter. I had to wait outside in pouring rain. The service was awful, the front desk attitude was rude, and I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s not worth your money, sanity or safety.

The reception team were friendly and helpful, and parking was great. We stayed as a couple twice in August 2025 and were lucky with the weather. The hotel can be hard to spot from the main road. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. It’s a short taxi ride to the city centre if you want more entertainment, and the area has a friendly feel. Maggie Mays is a short walk away for breakfast. Highly recommended.

A budget stay that’s worth every penny, and we’ll be back. The rooms are nice, the beds are perfect, and the staff are lovely. John and Russell at reception were great and had loads of information about Belfast. There’s secure parking, and The Botanic Inn next door has a great sports bar that welcomes families, with big screens for rugby, football and cricket. Wing IT serves lovely outdoor food in the beer garden to the left of Inn Belfast. Getting into the city is easy: the bus stop is outside, takes five minutes and costs £2. The Belfast bus tour picks up outside too. There’s a supermarket opposite with a budget breakfast, and Maggie Mays is only a few yards away for a great one. Botanic Park and Ulster Museum are 300 metres away. There’s also an off-licence, Chinese and Italian restaurants within a five-minute walk, and Queens University is just to the right beside the Inn Belfast. It’s exactly what the website says, no frills, in a lovely area, very close to Belfast City Centre.

There’s no breakfast or extras, just a basic room and WiFi, though ours also had a TV, kettle and bath. The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. A massive radiator gurgled through the night until I turned off its valve. I also thought £10 extra to park in the hotel’s own car park was cheeky. The location is good, with the city centre about a 25-minute walk or a shorter bus ride away. The local area has bars and restaurants, including around Botanic.
