Alex was especially welcoming and helped us settle in, even writing down nearby restaurants and cafés. The next morning, another staff member gave us the name and details of a church we wanted to visit. I’d emailed ahead to say it was my son’s birthday, and Charlotte and the team surprised him with chocolates and a birthday card signed by them. Such a thoughtful touch. We had a very nice stay at the Leonardo Hotel Belfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was decent, and the staff were extremely kind. The only reason for four stars is that there’s no Smart TV. Lovely people and a lovely place to stay.

The friendly, welcoming staff, the beautifully decorated lobby and the location for exploring Belfast were all good. The recommended car park was easy to find and close by. But for what we paid for one night, I felt we overpaid and probably won’t return. It was an extremely busy weekend, but we waited almost an extra hour for our family room, which disrupted our plans that evening. After that wait, we expected a better standard. The room was very small, with one window, tired and not properly cleaned. There were stains on the carpet, hairs in the sink and bath, and an empty juice bottle under the bed that my three-year-old daughter found. The sofa bed for the children had big gaps at either side, and there wasn’t enough bedding. The food was average and not very warm.

It was great value, and the staff were very attentive and kind. I first booked for myself and my daughter, then told the rest of our group where we were staying, and they booked there too. There were about 10 of us, and we all enjoyed it. I’d also asked for a low-level room and got one. Thank you for looking after us. Almudena

I’ve stayed here three nights a week, sometimes four, on a regular basis until June/July 2026. Courtney and Megan have handled my reservations, and they’ve both been consistently helpful and professional, especially with advice about the surrounding area. The service is reliably high at reception and in the breakfast area each morning. I rarely use the bar because of workplace drug and alcohol testing requirements, but from what I’ve seen it seems well managed and gives guests a positive experience. The stays have been comfortable and dependable, and the attentive staff make this somewhere I look forward to returning to each week.
