Our family group of 18, from toddlers to ninety, and four dogs, from a German Shepherd to a miniature dachshund, had a great time across six lodges. We're already talking about coming back later in the year. The lodges were comfortable, warm and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, freshly cooked and brought exactly as ordered. Staff at the restaurant and bar, reception and pool area were all friendly, efficient, helpful and welcoming.

The rooms were spotless, and the pool and sauna were a welcome extra. Our group of eight tried a range of dishes from the varied menu, and everything was delicious. We were here for a family birthday, and every member of staff was wonderful. Special thanks to Daniel, Cerys and Felicity in the restaurant for being so attentive and making our evening.

We've been to Hotel Waterloo a couple of times and would definitely stay again. It's a great base for exploring the area, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The food is great, with generous portions. My wife has been unwell, and the staff went above and beyond to make meals she could eat.

I'd definitely stay again and recommend it. The staff were friendly, and the hotel food was tasty, piping hot and reasonably priced. I did think £11 for a glass of Prosecco was a bit pricey, though I still bought quite a few. The TV in the room could also be updated to include Netflix.

The dog-friendly bar was great, and Lucky felt welcome too. We were very comfortable in one of the lodges with our dog, thanks to the lovely reception and bar staff who welcomed us when we arrived yesterday. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay. Thank you 😊
