Holiday Inn London Bexley

Breakfast was very good, and there was plenty of room in the lobby to work or have meetings. My room was nice and spacious, very comfortable, and had a good workspace. Really nice hotel, with great staff and fantastic service.

I won’t be coming back. The room was freezing, and the heating switched itself off every five minutes. I rang reception, but they seemed uninterested. They said someone would come to check it, but nobody did. None of the TV channels worked properly; they either wouldn’t come on or kept breaking up. I ate in the bar, where the food was very expensive, even for London. The fish was described as lightly battered, but the batter was literally an inch thick. I also only noticed when I got back to my room that a £6.50 service charge had been added. I thought they usually asked before taking it.

I stay here regularly for business, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are consistently clean, and I’ve had no real issues apart from the occasional trouble connecting streaming devices to the TV. Some dinner specials could add a bit more variety, but that’s me being picky.

The restaurant was good, and the staff were friendly. There’s lots of free parking, as long as you’re staying at or using the hotel. I was here on a business trip, and it was ideally located for getting to all the places I needed to reach.
