Hartland Quay Hotel

We came for our anniversary in December, expecting poor weather, and arrived in gale-force winds. The stormy sea so close by made the stay unforgettable. Sarah and Donal welcomed us at check-in, and our room was clean, inviting, and stocked with complimentary snacks, tea and coffee. The shower was awesome. We had a light supper in the bar, where the service was friendly and helpful. Martin kept the drinks coming for the rest of the evening. It was cosy sleeping there despite the tempest outside, and we really enjoyed breakfast too. We'd definitely like to come back. Thanks for a memorable time 👍

We came in after a fantastic walk and found the pub packed with people in high spirits, with a great music session going on. It turned out to be the incumbent landlord's 10th anniversary. What a great night!

I've only lived in Devon for nine months and had never been to Hartland before. A friend took me for a wonderful coastal walk, and the scenery was so breathtaking it was mind-blowing. Afterwards we stopped at the Hartland Quay Hotel for a drink. What a beautiful place. The barman said they were out of Crabbies Ginger Beer and that the bottle was just for display. I fell for it, and everyone laughed 🤣🤣. The staff were brilliant, funny, and friendly. I could have stayed forever, and there's a fantastic choice of drinks, from tea and coffee to stronger stuff. Can't wait to come back, highly recommend.

I stayed here overnight while hiking the SWCP. The place is magical, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing, really tasty with big portions. The room price included breakfast and was good considering this is the only accommodation option at the end of this hiking stage. The room heaters worked well, even in the bathroom, which I really appreciated. I liked it here a lot!
