The cafe was great too, so it’s a pity it’s closed now. I regularly book this lovely wee hotel for guests coming to Biggar for conferences and courses, and everyone seems to enjoy their stay. The staff are helpful and sociable. I haven’t stayed myself, but guests tell me the breakfasts are very good.

Thanks so much for our family stay and for making the wedding feel so special. Your local knowledge, hospitality and friendly Scottish welcome meant a lot. I’d highly recommend you and hope to stay again in future. Jules x

We came for a wedding at nearby Cornhill Castle and would stay here again. The room was spotless and nicely decorated, and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was hot and tasty, with fresh items brought out regularly at the buffet.

The breakfast was good quality, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in a family suite while attending a wedding at nearby Cornhill Castle. Street parking worked fine during our visit, though I imagine it could be tricky when town is busy, since some areas have time restrictions. The staff helpfully gave us taxi numbers for Cornhill. It felt a little pricey, but good enough that we’d return.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. I stayed recently for a nearby wedding. The place was immaculately clean, breakfast was fantastic, and the service was great.
