I slept well after the first night, when a neighbor who seemed not to sleep at all woke me several times. He checked out the next day. The shower water was only lukewarm, too cold for me. Soundproofing could be better, and some public transport guidance would help, such as explaining that on Sundays the train comes once an hour and stops running at 18:30. It's a new hotel, so everything felt fresh and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. When the train is running, getting to the city centre is quick and easy. The bus works too, but costs more and takes longer.

The staff and manageress who greeted me remembered me from my previous stay a few years ago, which was a lovely surprise. The place has new decor, and my room was spotless and nicely presented. I forgot to take pictures. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, and dinner was very good too. The chef did a great job with the burger and chips. I'll be back next year with the family. Well done.

The staff were incredibly helpful, even helping protect my car in the snow, and the chef was a real gentleman who offered help several times during my stay. Service was amazing and the rooms were extremely clean. Breakfast was very nice, and the heating worked really well, especially in the cold weather. The car park was very cheap, just a small fee for the whole stay.

The hotel was spotless, beautifully refurbished and welcoming, with a big TV and a clean, modern bathroom. It's rare to get a place like this at such a good price, and it's the cleanest, most affordable stay I've had in Birmingham. Noel greeted me and went above and beyond to make everything right. He looked like he might compete in a bodybuilding championship, and after we swapped a few nutrition tips, he told me breakfast was good. I upgraded and was glad I did. There was a menu that suited my vegetarian diet, really good veggie sausages, a perfectly cooked egg, plenty of drinks and something sweet on the side. I can't wait to come back. I also had a small problem after I'd left, and it was dealt with so efficiently that I was surprised. I'll definitely stay again and hope Noel is there to greet us. He's a real credit to the hotel and made our experience exceptional from start to finish.
