A great place to crash in Brum. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were really clean, with springy, comfortable beds. The kitchen area was clean too, and stocked with a full bar of food, drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed this hostel.

I accidentally booked a 10 room mixed bed instead of a female dorm. Hali at reception did her absolute best to move me to a female dorm, but unfortunately none were available. I didn't end up staying the night, but I want to thank Hali for being so kind and understanding. I'll definitely come again.

We had a really good time at Malacuna in Birmingham and were happy with the room for what we paid. Everything was very clean, and the staff were super friendly and helped with our requests. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

I came for a salsa night and stay here in JQ regularly. I'd booked the mixed dorm, but it was all men, so I asked to move and they were happy to help. The all-female dorm was peaceful, and the beds were very comfy, with a light and charging point in each space. Thank you!

Really convenient and well located, with clean rooms and comfortable bunk beds. I'd recommend it.
