We went to a great wedding fayre with lots of businesses. What a lovely house, a little hidden gem inside and out. It has nine bedrooms and would suit a family party. The grounds are beautiful too.

The team worked so hard behind the scenes and in front of us to make our wedding effortless and stress-free. The cleaning and housekeeping crew even packed everything away the next morning for us to take home, so we didn’t have to lift a finger. The rooms were immaculate, everyone who stayed loved their accommodation, and they were all ready much earlier than expected. We booked Old Rectory House for our wedding in December 2025, and Ellie helped us organise the perfect day. The venue is stunning and intimate, and we lost count of the comments about the house and outside areas. Ellie met us when we arrived and helped set everything up the way we wanted. Every request was met positively and handled beyond our expectations. The catering team and food were fantastic, and the bar staff were amazing, professional and quick, always serving guests with big smiles. A huge thank you to everyone. This place really is a gem, and we highly recommend it.

The food was amazing, from the wedding breakfast to breakfast the next morning. Our guests have also complimented the rooms, beds and showers, as well as the staff, venue and food. We had our wedding here just a few days ago, and it was exceptional. The venue is gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful all year round, and the staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. From our first meeting through checkout the morning after, thank you for everything you did. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Getting in with the door code was a little tricky when I had bags and a case, and it took me a few tries. Apart from that, it was a relaxed stay in a pretty location. I’ve stayed in a couple of different rooms, and both were really beautiful. The breakfast basket has a good selection, and in summer I was glad to have a fan added to the room.
