Adagio Birmingham City Centre

We were in town for a gig, and this hotel worked out brilliantly since we could walk to both the 02 and the city centre. The room was lovely, with a kitchen, and you could borrow games or an air fryer at no extra cost. There were snacks and drinks for sale downstairs, plus a gym and a restaurant on site. Absolutely amazing for what we got!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the laundry was easy to use. Reception can give you change, and there's a handy waste room if you don't want takeaway rubbish stinking up the room. We had a superior apartment, and I could easily see staying there longer because it's so close to everything. With my big suitcase, getting there from New Street was manageable using the escalators and lifts, with only a few kerbs to lift it over. We stayed six nights between shows. The Bullring is two minutes from the door, the O2 Institute is five minutes away, and Subside was visible from our windows. It's about a ten-minute walk to the 02 academy, The old Rep, and The Alexandra. The library is 20 minutes away and the sea life centre about 30. There are loads of nearby places to get food. Our room was spotlessly clean, which mattered more to me than the paint that could use a fresh coat. It was warm, the shower was fantastic, and the sofa bed was comfortable for guests. The only thing I could complain about was the lack of a proper oven, but I knew that when I booked and don't blame the hotel. You can borrow an air fryer, though I didn't because I'm not that organised. Great stay, and I'll use the Adagio again.

Linda and Garry really made us feel at home. They were kind, caring, and went above and beyond to sort out whatever we needed. The whole staff was amazing and accommodating. Our studio apartment was wonderful and spacious, close to the train station, bull ring, and everywhere we needed to go. Breakfast was nice and had a great variety. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

Everything we needed was in the room, which was clean and air conditioned. The bed was comfortable, with good bedding and pillows, and the blackout curtains helped us sleep well. You could adjust both the water temperature and pressure, so the shower was just right any time. The hotel is in an excellent spot in Birmingham, England. Shops, restaurants, and attractions are all an easy walk away, and it's straightforward to reach by road, train, or coach from across the country.
