Chilton was a quiet place to stay, with spacious, tidy rooms, a well-maintained kitchen and a study area and mannequin room for PLAB 2 students. The kitchen was much cleaner than the Aspire accommodation. It’s two minutes’ walk from Aspire and Home Bargains, and ten minutes to Lidl. I stayed from 28 March till 30 June 2025 for PLAB 2 preparation and coaching at Aspire. You can save around £5-10 a night compared with academy accommodation, and I saved around £450 over my three-month stay. The hotel owners, Dee & Pam, are very polite and help students at every step, like our parents do back home. They gave me food for a few days before my exam so I could focus more on studying. They also helped some students arrange attachments. I felt very lonely in my first few days, but Dee always asked “you okay” when he saw me. Pam made me many delicious Punjabi dishes. They make you feel at home. I passed my exam on my first attempt, thanks to my parents, study partners and the owners at Chilton. If you’re coming to Blackpool for PLAB 2, I highly recommend Chilton Hotel.

The mannequin room was great for practice and had all types of mannequins. There’s also a good reading room and convenient kitchen facilities. I stayed at Chilton hotel for around eight weeks while preparing for PLAB2. It’s only a two-minute walk from the aspire academy. Pam and D were so helpful and sweet, and made it feel like a second home. The rooms were great. I loved the place and the people, and would highly recommend it.

The hosts are wonderful to stay with, always available, ready to help and happy to accommodate. The utilities are all up to date, and it’s a great experience that doesn’t cost a lot. I highly recommend Chilton's.

The family running Chilton Hotel are super nice and helpful, especially Pam and D. I loved staying there. It’s close to the academy, which was really convenient, and there’s a mannequins room for practice that I found really useful. I highly recommend Chilton Hotel.

The room was cozy, with a beautiful beach view, and it’s only a short walk to the shore. I spent around six weeks at The Chilton and had a really good experience. Pam and D were warm and helpful, always available when we needed assistance. The hotel is conveniently close to the Aspire Academy I was attending. It also has a well-functioning kitchen and study rooms. I highly recommend it for PLAB 2 aspirants.
