The food and drinks were really nice, and the service was great. My only gripe is that staff could be quicker to notice empty glasses and ask if you'd like another.

I'm here regularly for business and never have any problems. The value for money is excellent. A lovely staff member upgraded my single room to a double and suggested I try the food next time, which I will. Thanks!

Stayed this week and was disappointed with the room. There was a large dressing table but no nearby socket for the hairdryer. The kettle was next to the bed, and the double socket by the fridge was partly blocked by a radiator, so I had to unplug the fridge to use the dryer. The bathroom was coming away from the bath, and there wasn't any soap in the sink dispenser.

We had dinner here one evening and really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. The price was reasonable too, and the meat was good local produce from the butchers next door.

The staff work so hard and always make us feel welcome, even when we turn up at short notice. Service is consistently quick and really good. We've never had a problem or been let down, whether we're here for food or a drink. Five stars for the staff and service, we love coming here!
