We were in town for three nights to see two sets of friends. Jane & Ged run a lovely guest house, and we had a great stay. We usually choose 5* hotels, but the brilliant reviews persuaded us to try this little gem. At this time of year breakfast wasn’t offered, which suited us perfectly.

We rented the whole Amarillo Guesthouse for three nights while our football team was at a local sports festival, and it worked brilliantly for us. The house was spacious, beautiful and spotless, with a handy location close to everything we needed. Jane & Ged were so welcoming and made the whole stay easy.

We had such a lovely bank holiday weekend at the Amarillo. It’s quiet, clean, full of charm and in a great spot. The B&B itself felt warm and homely, and everything was immaculate. We’d absolutely recommend it. Thanks so much for having us!

The room decorations were lovely, and our room was just right. Even with the hotel full, it stayed very quiet. The hosts were lovely, late check-in was allowed, and there was parking available. A beautiful B&B and a great experience.

There was plenty in the room for a relaxing stay, including tea and coffee, toiletries, a hairdryer and even robes. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully put together. Breakfast was a feast of buffet options, with unlimited tea and coffee, friendly conversation, local knowledge and music adding to the atmosphere. The entrance is lovely, and the quirky decor is tasteful. The hosts are every bit as warm and welcoming as their home. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
