The Shepherd Hut was spotless, warm and cosy, and the bed was so comfortable that we slept brilliantly. We also really appreciated the breakfast hamper, with fresh bread, pastries, eggs, milk, butter, jam and apple juice. Helen was always nearby if we needed directions or advice. We walked to the farm shop and kitchen, then carried on into Bradford on Avon. The Dog and Fox Inn is about a 15-minute walk away and well worth a visit. Clive the Landlord will look after you. A lovely weekend stay with friends.

We felt at home here, almost like visiting a friend. Helen is such a welcoming host and was happy to suggest places to see. The farmhouse setting is beautiful, and the room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of local produce. It’s well placed for Bradford-on-Avon, with Bath easy to reach too. This is a real gem of a B&B, and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

A proper little countryside escape. The shepherd hut was beautiful, and the private garden looked out over the cows. We loved the welcome hamper and the attention to detail, especially having a fire pit there. It was a lovely break from everyday life, and we’d happily stay again soon.

Breakfast was fresh, cooked to order and brought straight to the table, so it arrived hot. There was loads of choice too. Helen made everything easy, recommending a great pub for dinner and even booking it for us. From the start, the room felt welcoming and was beautifully decorated. We also appreciated the area guide, with places to eat, and the tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. The farm is peaceful and rural, just right for getting away from the everyday bustle. Helen really was a lovely host, and we’ll be back soon.

Helen was kind, welcoming and knew the area well. She clearly cares about guests enjoying their time here. The B&B is beautifully done and sits in lovely countryside, away from town but close to plenty of beautiful places. There’s excellent food nearby, and breakfast was delicious. We hope to come back.
