Elena and Andy made my stay at Travelodge Bradford South comfortable, pleasant, and memorable. They work well together and made me feel like a valued guest, with warm, calm, genuinely caring service from the moment I arrived. Elena always greeted me with a smile, patiently answered questions, and made check-in and check-out easy. Andy was just as helpful, sharing useful information, making sure guests were comfortable, and keeping things running smoothly with kindness and professionalism. They take pride in their work, and their dedication makes a real difference. They're a credit to the hotel, and I hope their efforts are recognised. Thank you both.

The price was cheap, but the hotel could be better. It was partway through a refurb, so there were no restaurant facilities and no hairdryer. My room key didn't work, and I had to walk up to the third floor twice because decorating was blocking the lift. The heater only blew cold air.

The room was clean and functional, with everything you'd expect from a budget hotel, and the staff were spot on, friendly and helpful. Still, I tried to save £100 and ended up regretting it. Over five nights, sleep was a luxury: loud TVs, doors slamming at all hours, and people shouting into speakerphones every night. I'd spent the previous seven weeks in hotels and hadn't had this level of inconsiderate noise before. There was also construction, with drilling and banging due to continue until January 2026. The booking site didn't make that clear, which felt like a stitch-up. The restaurant had very few traditional English dishes, nothing like Wetherspoon menu options, and the portions were small. If you're booking just because it's cheap, expect the real cost to be your sleep and sanity.

I just needed somewhere cheap to sleep for 12 hours, and it did the job. The bed was comfortable, the location handy, and it was quiet until the building noise started at 8am. I knew the hotel was being refitted, so the morning disruption didn't bother me since I was already awake. I'm a Travelodge fan, it does what it says on the tin.

The cafe service at breakfast was great, thanks to Liam, who's working his butt off and is a credit to Travelodge. The rest was awful. Construction started at 7am and was extremely loud, and the rooms were smelly and dirty. The website says you'll still have a comfortable stay, but it's hard to believe that when workmen wake you at 7. Avoid this place.
