Queens Hotel

The bed was harder than I like, so sleeping wasn’t easy, and one of the two lifts was out of order, which made getting around slow. Still, I had a positive stay. The room was spacious, with a good-sized bathroom, and reception were efficient and helpful. Breakfast came with the room and had plenty to choose from, including cooked options, toast, and cereal. The scrambled eggs could’ve been hotter, but the rest was fine. I enjoyed the pool, and there’s a gym and sauna too.

We’ve stayed here in January two years running and loved it both times. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and lovely, though they could use an update. Breakfast is the best, and the restaurant food is good. It’s also nice having a pool, gym, and sauna, and the location works really well. We’ll be back next year.

The food was a highlight. I had a burger with my partner yesterday, easily one of the best I’ve tried, then steak today that was cooked perfectly, a touch nearer rare than medium-rare. They did miss the peas, but it didn’t spoil the meal. Breakfast was spot on too. We stayed in a great top-floor room, and the gym and spa are in very good shape. Everything feels carefully done and high quality. The staff made us feel special, especially Patrick, who went above and beyond, and the bar team were all brilliant. This might be the best hotel in the UK, and it’s certainly the best I’ve stayed in. I’d absolutely return.

My room was comfortable, with beautiful views over the sea. Queens Hotel Brighton has a bit of an old-fashioned feel, but it’s clean and cozy, and that old school charm made the stay feel warm and authentic. It’s right on the seafront, conveniently close to the pier, shops, and restaurants. Thanks especially to Carlos at the front desk for such outstanding service.
