We only stopped in for a drink at first, then ended up staying for birthday dinner. The chef was quick as well as talented, and the food was great. It's a lovely rural spot, though maybe not the place if you want Falmouth town's atmosphere. It's dog friendly, and the service was genuinely warm. Can't fault it.

The garden and sun deck were the best parts for me. Our room was okay, nothing special, and the building felt very quiet when we arrived. Getting a drink meant hunting someone down, which made everything feel like hard work. Maybe we ran into the ghost crew, because we would have ordered and spent more if it had been easier. Breakfast was brilliant, though, and the morning service was fantastic. I'd go back, just not at the price we paid.

Musty and eerie, with damp foundations, constant barking, and rude people. I wouldn't trust the chef with a bowl of cereal, and I have no confidence in how clean the construction is. The Greenbank or the Alverton might be worth trying, and even a Travelodge would be an improvement.

We gathered with friends and family after a funeral, spending time in the sunshine on the terrace reminiscing and catching up. The staff were attentive, polite, and kind, and nothing felt like too much trouble. It was a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, and Penmorvah Manor helped make a difficult day much nicer. Thank you.

The terrace was the best part of our three-night stay in a deluxe room, with a great view and a lovely spot for an afternoon drink in the sun. The food came out fresh and hot, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a pleasant stay, though the building's rather outdated look wasn't to our taste. We could hear people walking and talking outside our room, and through the walls too. The dining room could be cleaner, as breakfast items sometimes seemed dusty, as if they'd been left out overnight. Most sadly, we didn't get to see enough of the manor dogs! We'd recommend staying if this kind of property appeals to you.
