The spa was the best we’ve visited, with plenty of rooms and space to relax all day. It was quiet and uncrowded, and the restaurant was lovely too. Ordering breakfast to our room was one of the nice touches. We stayed the day after our wedding at a nearby location. I’d booked an online offer, but when the staff learned we’d just got married, they upgraded us to a luxury suite. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and they made us feel welcome. There was even a congratulations and welcome card in the spa locker. It was a perfect way to end our week, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you so much!

We booked a one night stay this weekend for my wife’s birthday, and I’m glad we did. The reception staff were brilliant and accommodating, and the buggy ride over to Woodlands Spa was a great extra. It’s one of the best spas I’ve visited in the UK. The room felt a bit bare for something listed as luxury, though the photos were available before the visit, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was reasonable, as expected, and the staff were very polite. We also had access to the health club and leisure centre, which came in handy on checkout day. It was a bit crowded since it’s open to the public as well, but we didn’t have to wait to use the sauna, steam room or indoor jacuzzi. I’d definitely come back.

The grounds gave us plenty of variety for portraits, from the lake and pavilion to the garden walkways and countryside. Staff were welcoming and professional, and the day flowed smoothly with a relaxed feel, making it a pleasure to photograph. I recently photographed Sarah and Corey’s spring wedding at Crow Wood Hotel & Spa. The modern, elegant venue was brilliant for photography. Both the ceremony and wedding breakfast were in The Lakeside Suite, a lovely space with lots of natural light and beautiful decorations that create a bright, welcoming setting for relaxed moments. The wedding breakfast was a highlight, with outstanding food that added to the day. Everything felt carefully considered and well presented.

We’ve decided to look elsewhere, and after reading other reviews, it feels like a blessing in disguise. We were hoping to plan our wedding at Crow Wood Hotel, but trying to get a response has left us feeling very unwanted. For what could be a significant spend on one of the most special days of your life, basic, timely communication is the least you’d expect. Simply being able to speak with someone seems to be the best service they can offer. Over four weeks, I called five times and emailed four times without a reply. When someone did answer the phone, they said someone would get back to us, but we’re still waiting. There also seems to be confusion between departments. Reception said no one was available when I asked for weddings and events, but when I called that department directly, someone answered and said everyone was out of the office in a meeting. Reception hadn’t mentioned that. It all feels very disorganised, with poor communication internally, and has been extremely disappointing.
