The food on our second night was incredible, and the pub had a great drink selection and a cozy feel. We booked two nights at the crown hotel, and the staff were friendly, attentive and brilliant from the moment we arrived. We'll definitely be back. Honestly, we couldn't fault it.

Becky made me feel so welcome, and she absolutely works her socks off. I had a great three-night stay. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean, and there was a decent bar menu with good food and some nice beers. The location was handy for getting to lots of places in the area.

There’s entertainment at the weekend, and some rooms have been upgraded. The atmosphere is warm, the staff are friendly, and the menu has a good range of pub food.

The prices were what we expected, and it was a decent enough pub. We called in on the way back to our hotel and found the drink selection limited. It gave the impression of being very much a locals' pub. The entertainment was a man singing older songs along to a karaoke-style backing machine.

The Saturday night live music was fab. We stayed at The Crown Hotel for a couple of days while walking nearby, and it was a lovely place to stay, with fantastic, very clean rooms, a great bar and decent food.
