Ibis Cambridge Central Station

We had pizzas and wine at the Ibis after a drink at a nearby bar, and both were excellent. The restaurant and bar staff were super, a credit to any hotel chain. When we asked one of the female servers what working the late shift at the Ibis Cambridge was like, she said it genuinely felt like being with friends. I’ve never heard that from someone in hospitality. Whoever supervises the team has a great formula. The hotel is on a town square with the train station on one side, plus eateries, bars and supermarkets nearby. I travel a lot, and check-in was one of the friendliest and most efficient I’ve experienced. The room was grand and had all the essentials.

The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part is the location right by the train station. There’s a 24-hour bar and a nice lounge on the first floor where you can relax. I had a comfortable stay at the ibis in Cambridge, no complaints, and I’d happily return.

There’s no gym, but there’s hot food until 3am and breakfast from 6am. The social lounge is nice, with musical events, books to read, a TV, and a bar. It’s next door to the train station and 1km from Cambridge city centre 😁. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, good for overnight travel or a couple of nights.

The standout was the service. Prognya Saha was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. That kind of personal care is rare, and I highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Cambridge. The ibis Cambridge Central Station has a modern feel and a welcoming atmosphere. My room was spotless and quiet, with such a comfortable bed that I had a perfect night's sleep. The bar is worth checking out too, with an excellent drinks selection and a great spot to unwind.
