A lovely little hidden gem in beautiful grounds and a great location. My friend and I enjoyed our stay in a twin room, which was nicely decorated. It was a little dated, but that suited the large, airy room with its high ceiling. Everything was immaculately clean, and the beds were so comfortable, with fresh, good quality bedding. Our room looked out over the back towards the pool. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Elaine at reception even used her webcam to advise us where the best weather was. The chap in the bar was chatty and helpful too, sorry I’ve forgotten his name. Breakfast had a great choice and was delicious, a lovely start to the day. We enjoyed sitting by the long windows in the breakfast room, looking over the rear of the property. We’ll definitely stay again. Thank you.

We spent about a week at the hotel last year as part of a Roads Scholar trip in England. Our room was roomy, comfortable and clean, and the grounds were in great shape. Every breakfast and supper our group had there was outstanding. The breakfasts in particular were so filling you didn’t need anything else until supper. The bar had an adequate selection and was usually staffed by the owner himself. We were close to all the hiking outings our group completed, and it looked like there were golf courses nearby too. I’d go back in a minute. I hope I get the chance to return to the hotel, the area and England, and live through this pandemic.

Our little villa was beautifully clean and, although basic, suited our needs perfectly. The villas were great, and we could still use the pool and badminton courts. I was very surprised to arrive and find the hotel shut.

It’s a lovely place to visit and stay, quiet and calming, with plenty of trees, grassy areas and some hills. The grounds are tidy and well kept. There are two-bedroom chalets and three-bedroom lodges for rent from their owners. The hotel part of the complex is closed at the moment, and the pool is currently shut because of Covid-19 restrictions. There’s also a tennis court, a volleyball and badminton court, and a washing machine and dryer room near the car park.

The grounds are pretty and the hotel is beautiful, with a pool, games room and more on offer. The accommodation is very comfortable, good for a couple and even suitable for groups. It’s a lovely place to stay, although some areas feel a bit old fashioned and could use an update.
