The breakfast was lovely. I just asked for scrambled egg on toast and it came out perfectly, so I’d happily stay again. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a big shower, fluffy towels, and separate soap, shampoo and shower gel. There was a kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits, plus a fridge and cold water. Plenty of sockets by both sides of the bed, too, along with a hairdryer and large TV. It felt as good as the smallest room in Cardigan’s two top hotels. From the outside it looks like a locals’ sports bar, but we didn’t hear a thing all night. Upstairs was bright and nicely decorated, and we slept really well.

The pub’s locals were such good company and really made our stay. The room was clean, the staff were brilliant and breakfast was great. Lovely hotel and pub, and handy for the town.

At night the pub had a great buzz, with music and lovely locals who made us feel welcome. A great little pub in cardigan, and the rooms were clean and lovely, with a big en suite bathroom.

The bathrooms have been newly refurbished and are finished to a nice standard. Friendly staff and locals, and an excellent breakfast. I’d stay again.
