The bedrooms impressed all our guests, and the bridal getting-ready room was amazing, just how I wanted to spend my wedding morning. We got married at Dalston Hall on 25th May, and the day was wonderful. We stayed the night before with close friends and family, and it was beautiful to have the Hall to ourselves. Olivia was our wedding coordinator, and she’s lovely. She kept us on track during the Sunday rehearsal and helped the day run smoothly. We’re grateful to all the staff for their hard work, especially in such heat. Little touches like fans and extra bottles of water were so thoughtful. It’s a beautiful venue, made even more special by the wedding team. Thank you for everything. Beth and Dan Fairclough

Getting to arrive the night before took the stress out of the day, so we could just relax that morning. We loved every moment of our two days at Dalston Hall. Everyone was lovely and accommodating, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Kelly, our coordinator, made sure everything ran smoothly and easily, and we had the most magical wedding day. The food was absolutely delicious, and the setting made a wonderful backdrop for the most important day of your life.

The food was spot on, and so many of our guests complimented it. We had our wedding at Dalston Hall, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff, especially Kelly, did an amazing job. Everyone was so helpful, the day ran smoothly, and the attention to detail brought our vision to life. We couldn’t be more grateful. We’d recommend Dalston Hall to any couples looking for a wedding venue. Thank you for helping make our special day!

The ceremony itself went well, but attending a wedding here at the end of October brought a lot of problems. We were in room 6, the turret room. At £150 a night I expected it to be in perfect condition, but there was a large carpet stain and water damage on the ceiling over the bed. The toilet seat was loose, the shower door was hanging off with its fittings still in the enclosure, and one set of blinds was sitting on the sill instead of the window. The other blinds didn’t work. I don’t know if there was hot water. My Son’s room had mould around the windows. This is unacceptable in any hotel, and at that price it feels like robbery. Booking rooms was dreadful: the link we were sent didn’t work, and the hotel told us to phone instead. Why send a link to an online system that doesn’t work? Guests also shouldn’t have to clear cigarette ends, glasses and other debris from the entrance left over from the previous day’s wedding. When the bar opened at noon, about 30 people were waiting, but only one person was serving. Three staff members were standing in reception talking while the queue built up. A guest shouldn’t have to ask for more bar staff. The snooker room was disgusting; I wouldn’t sit on its chairs or sofa. Some staff were rude or abrupt to several people, not just me. I wouldn’t recommend staying at Dalston Hall. I’m sure they count on people not complaining on someone’s wedding day because nobody wants to be the one kicking off.

We had my beautiful wedding breakfast in the marquee, then our evening reception in the Great Hall. The Hall was so beautiful, and I’m glad we chose to have both our ceremony and reception there. It was the perfect day at Dalston Hall, and the supportive, helpful team made it so. Yasmin was a flawless wedding coordinator. I felt relaxed, and everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic, and both the venue and Yasmin were so accommodating and made brilliant suggestions. I can’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else. Thank you so much xx
