The Silverdale Hotel

The place is much bigger than you might think, with plenty of room. The food is delicious and homemade, and the portions are generous, so you won’t go hungry. Breakfast is amazing too. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and Caroline is lovely, always making time for a chat. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely staff, a fantastic pub, and dogs seem to like it as much as people do. It’s very dog friendly and in a fab location near the beach, right in Silverdale. As I’m writing this, I’m still embarrassed that my Android Pay didn’t work. One of the locals paid for my beer, so I’ll get her one back next time I’m in.

We’ve only eaten Sunday roast here, but it’s always been lovely, with a big portion. The menu’s on the small side, though everything’s homemade and delicious, and the prices are fair. It’s a really nice pub with a lovely big dog-friendly beer garden, not far from Silverdale beach. We’ll definitely stop by more often after walking our dog on the beach.

After a Saturday walk, we stopped in for lunch and the food was incredible. The chicken, mushroom and leek pie had shortcrust pastry, came with sides, was a good size, and was full of chicken. The apple crumble cake with custard was incredible too. They even have 0% Kronenbourg 1664 on tap. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully to stay.
