Strozzi Palace Luxury Boutique Suites

I booked through Agoda today as a birthday surprise for my fiancée, hoping we’d have a different kind of night. I checked in through the app, then waited for access to the key, but the key was never made available. They said I had to pay a £250 deposit for security, explaining that I live quite close to their Suites and that this was weird. After spending three hours trying to find the best way to get my money back or receive key access, Agoda was amazing. I wonder whether there would have been a problem if that had been the only money I had. Maybe only rich people should apply?

I’ve stayed in Cheltenham many times, and this is easily the best place I’ve found. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Communication was perfect, and getting into the property was easy. It’s in a quiet spot close to the station, with some great restaurants nearby. I don’t think I’ll need to stay anywhere else now.

We found the hotel easily, and it’s just a short walk to the brewery quarter and town centre, a perfect location. Booking was straightforward, with good information and updates beforehand. While we were waiting to check in, we got a helpful courtesy call with the details for our room. They’d also left the air conditioning on to cool it. We’ve just come back from a long weekend in Cheltenham and would love to visit again. I’d recommend it.

The apartment had a high-end finish and an incredibly comfortable bed. The security was excellent, and Cheltenham centre is only five minutes away. If the parking is full, there’s plenty of street parking right outside and on the adjoining streets. I can’t wait to try another place with this company.
