We were a group of seven, and everyone had amazing main courses and desserts, with gorgeous wine and cocktails. The place itself is amazing, the interior so cosy, and the staff couldn't have been better. I'd highly, highly recommend it.

We spent Sunday here and all six of us, including two children, thought our meals were incredible. The food was amazing, the service great, and the beer garden was lovely for sitting out in the sunshine. A lovely pub.

Andrew and the staff were lovely, and the service was great. The food, my God, was SO good. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the fries and peppercorn sauce were exemplary. I'd especially recommend the chilli honey sprouts. We had a sterling meal this evening in a beautiful, candlelit, cosy spot by the fire. This locally owned pub may have the best grub in the Cotswolds. 10/10, would highly recommend!

The Stag is a decent hotel and inn right in the centre of Stow, so the location is perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar and restaurant are very nice places to eat and drink. The food was decent, though very expensive, as seems to be the case throughout the Cotswolds. It's an old building, so expect character and uneven floors. Our room was generally good, but a bit small, with nowhere to sit apart from the bed. It also showed some wear and tear that should be seen to. A good stay overall, with room for improvement.
