The breakfast had a fab selection of hot and cold food, cooked to order and really nice. We had dinner at the lovely village pub across the road. Our three rooms, for my wife and me, my mum and my mother-in-law, were all ready when we arrived after visiting Weald and Downlands Museum. They were lovely, clean and very comfortable. We had a fantastic stay on Saturday night and would highly recommend it.

The self check-in is really convenient, and we’ve never had trouble finding a parking space in the several spots available. The rooms are cosy, warm and very clean, with facilities to make a drink. Breakfast is a winner, with plenty of choice for everyone. There’s a lovely family room and a ground-floor room too. If you want to eat out, there’s a pub two minutes away serving really good food. We love coming to this truly gorgeous guest house and have just got home from our latest visit. I’d have no hesitation recommending this fabulous place.

Matt was warm, welcoming and chatty, and the arrangements before we arrived were excellent. Booking was easy, the confirmation emails were informative and well organised, and chatting with Matt via WattsApp was great. The guest house felt warm, cosy and welcoming when we arrived, and was tastefully decorated. I was travelling with my 87-year-old mother and wanted a comfortable, lovely place for the night. We weren’t disappointed. Our top-floor room had two single beds and was a joy to arrive at after a long journey. I have back issues, so the very comfortable bed and snuggly blanket were bliss. The room and ensuite shower room were warm and spotless, with lovely extra touches. Breakfast was delicious: plenty of cereal, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds, plus a scrumptious cooked option that was divine. Mum and I loved our stay and will definitely return on our next visit. The countryside around the accommodation was peaceful and ideal for a morning run, and we had a very nice evening meal at the Anglesey Arms. Breakfast was fantastic. Arrival details were clear and easy to follow, the accommodation was clean and tidy, and all the amenities worked. Thoroughly recommend it, a warm and welcoming home from home!

Breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day, and the chef was super energetic and friendly. The room was a good size, with a very comfy bed and tidy en-suite. There was tea, coffee and snacks, plus proper milk. Self check-in was a breeze, with clear instructions and contact details if needed. It’s a lovely place to stay and good value. They also do packed lunches, which I only found out about when we arrived late. I’ll take advantage next time, and would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.
