The White Hart Ford

The staff we met were all great, and we'd stay again. Our room was welcoming and full of character, with a huge bath as well as a shower. There's a good range of hot drinks, including a coffee machine, and breakfast was tasty with generous portions. The location is great, away from the main road. Dinner was the one disappointment. The steak pie itself was very good, but it was small, and the vegetables were just two nearly raw broccoli pieces and two slices of overcooked carrot. I'd expect a bigger dinner portion, hence the four stars for service.

The room was gorgeous and clean, with a huge super king bed, and at night all we heard was the babbling brook. We spent one night at this beautiful Cotswold pub in an idyllic spot. The pub food was lovely and the service great. It exceeded our expectations, highly recommended.

We loved our two-night stay at The White Hart and would gladly recommend it. It's in a picturesque spot, well placed for castle combe and Bath. The rooms were fantastic and had all the facilities we needed, the restaurant's food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. We'll definitely book again soon.

Even on a rainy Sunday in September, this is a lovely pub in a beautiful location. We arrived and were welcomed warmly, then quickly shown to our room across the road. The staff and pub atmosphere felt very welcoming, and we enjoyed drinks before dinner. Both evening meals, fish and chips with a very large portion and steak, were delicious, well-prepared pub dishes. The atmosphere stayed warm and pleasant, and the staff were great. Our room was very clean, had all the facilities we could want and a lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic too, and we both had full English. Thanks for a great stay, highly recommended.
