Premier Inn London Chiswick

Breakfast was easily the highlight. Sisay was handling it on her own and doing a brilliant job, while still making us feel welcome. She kept things tidy without hovering and created such a nice atmosphere. She definitely deserves a raise. The room was good too, and check-in was quick and easy.

The internet was my main small annoyance. The slower connection can just about handle a Fire Stick, but I’d really struggle to work on it, and watching TV means paying £5 a day for premium internet. The air conditioning also switches off overnight, which could be frustrating in summer. I sleep hot even in winter, so it bothered me a bit. I asked for a blanket cover and they brought one, which worked fine. I use a wheelchair, walking frame and several other bits of equipment, so travelling is often difficult. My brother lives just around the corner, but staying with him isn’t practical because of my needs. This hotel is incredibly convenient for me. The staff were polite and obliging, and let me walk through the restaurant to reach my room rather than having to go all the way around. For what I paid, I’m more than satisfied. Is it a five-star hotel? No, it’s a budget hotel, so it’s best to have realistic expectations. But for the price, the experience is five-star. Staff stayed polite, helpful and positive throughout, which I especially appreciated over Christmas, when I’m sure they’d rather have been elsewhere. I know I would have felt that way in their shoes. I’m always a bit sad to leave a Travelodge. I don’t have an accessible bathroom at home yet, fingers crossed that changes soon, so having a flat bathroom with plenty of grab rails and a seat feels like a treat and makes life much easier. Breakfast was a hit with our large group. Sisay was so welcoming and kind, helped us sit together, and made the kids feel comfortable serving themselves. It made the whole meal relaxing for everyone. Check-in was fast and simple, and the room was clean and just what we needed. Easy to spot too, is that the northern lights? Nope, it's the premier inn.

We had a lovely stay, just me and my 9-year-old daughter. The Full Monty breakfast was excellent and such good value. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable, and we both slept really well. The staff made us feel at home and were kind and welcoming. When our digital key gave us a little trouble, they fixed it quickly and professionally. Thank you!
