The staff were pleasant, but it felt like some of the issues were coming from higher up. Breakfast was a joke: most of the food had run out, and the chef only brought replacements when someone asked. Room 20 also had incredibly noisy floorboards. If you're booking with a voucher, call ahead to check, as they have some strange rules about using them.

The buffet was delicious, and the room looked stunning for our daughter's 21st at the Busby. Everyone working there was lovely and really helpful. Stephen and the bar staff took especially good care of us that night. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We got married at The Busby Hotel on 17.20.25, and the honeymoon suite was one of the things that won us over. It was absolutely stunning. I would have loved to stay the night after the wedding too and use the facilities, so we'll need to book again to enjoy them properly. On the day, Connor and Rebecca were outstanding. They kept us updated on how the venue was looking and made sure our vendors were sorted, so I could relax knowing everything was being handled. The whole day went without a hitch. Our guests said it was the best wedding they'd been to, and kept talking about the beautiful venue and how amazing the dinner and buffet food was. We thought it was delicious too. We'd already had a few lunches and dinners with family after booking, and the food in Carter's was always beautiful. We never had a bad meal, and all the staff were lovely. The night before the wedding, we stayed over and had a family meal. The food and service were top notch, and Connor, who was working with us on the wedding team, came over to introduce himself and put us at ease. From our first viewing, Megan was amazing to work with. She was never pushy, just supportive through every part of planning the day, and always there when we had questions. Megan, thanks so much ❤️ I honestly can't say enough about how special you made the day. I'd love to do it all again. We'll be back for food or another overnight stay soon. Customers for life now 🥰🥰

We were home after two nights for our friends' wedding, and the staff had been fantastic: friendly and helpful, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean, with just enough space for the two of us. I'd recommend staying if you're there for a wedding. If you want a quiet break, though, it may not be the best fit. We weren't disturbed too much.
