The food was okay and there was plenty of it, but our coach party booking came with a limited menu. We were also asked to tick off our meal choices for all four nights in advance, which seemed odd, though maybe that’s just me. As a vegetarian, I only had a couple of options and ended up repeating them every other night. I’d have preferred to choose from the full menu each evening, like at a normal restaurant. Breakfast was good and had plenty of the usual things, but a vegetarian sausage would have been welcome.

We had a nice afternoon tea with Prosecco and friendly service. The receptionist gave us a really warm welcome, and the staff were friendly throughout. I also enjoyed a swim, though the pool could do with a couple of loungers. We were there for the afternoon, and sitting in a chair wasn’t especially comfortable or relaxing.

Our meal was lovely, and it was included in the hotel package. Wendy was our waitress and was absolutely amazing, going out of her way to make us feel welcome. I’d eat here again.

The food was okay and served hot by pleasant staff, though there was quite a wait between courses one evening. We’re on a four-night GB Tours coach holiday with breakfast and dinner included. As a vegetarian, I was disappointed by the limited choices and found it strange to be asked on arrival to choose meals for all four nights. We had to repeat our few options on alternate nights. For breakfast I just had toast with butter and Marmite, then a yoghurt. There was plenty of fruit, cereal, pastries, toast bread, jam and little pots of Marmite. The hot breakfast wasn’t very suitable for vegetarians. I could have found a few things to eat, but with so many vegetarians around these days, I think they should make more effort.
