Bharat and Anne were friendly, helpful hosts, and breakfast was above and beyond. The beautiful house and room were clean, immaculate and very high quality, while the lounge had wonderful views. I’ve never stayed in a better guest house, or possibly hotel. Superb, and very highly recommended. Thank you, Bharat and Anne. Hope to see you again!

Short and sweet, I loved it! Bharat is a consummate host at this lovely place in the hills above Monmouth, just a short drive from town. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the views are fabulous. The apron-clad host himself served a delicious breakfast to order. I also enjoyed chatting over breakfast at the communal table with Nick the regular.

Bharat was a very welcoming host, and his lovely house had everything we needed. There’s private parking and amazing views. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a TV and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was tasty, with a full cooked option as well as cereal, toast, fruit and juices. Can’t fault it. Thank you, Bharat, for the kind attention!

We stayed two nights on a red letter day offer. The room was lovely and spacious, and the hosts were lovely too. The guest lounge looks out over amazing views. Both mornings we had a great cooked breakfast that really set us up for the day.

The breakfast had everything we could have wanted, and the en suite room was roomy, clean and really comfortable. We spent two nights at Torlands and found the whole stay first rate. They'd even thought to leave a torch on the bedside table. We'd happily recommend this B&B.
