The best part of our midweek night away was how genuinely welcoming everyone was. Joyce looked after us at The Cove and again at breakfast, and she was an absolute dream, so warm and friendly that we felt cared for the whole time. The reception team were lovely too, including the Welsh woman with dark hair and Maria (?). They were calm and professional, and really made us feel welcome. We took advantage of the promotion and thought it was an amazing deal. We’d last visited about 5/6 years ago, and the updates to the place looked great. We arrived just after lunch, had some well-deserved drinks at The Cove, then went to the spa and had dinner. Thank you times 1000. The staff deserve to know how amazing they are.

Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh food and such a wide selection. The hotel is beautiful and in a stunning location, and the reception staff were really friendly. Our room was spacious, cosy and clean. The spa looked stunning too, though the sauna and steam rooms were very small, the jacuzzi was cold, and the whole spa felt chilly. Still, it was nice overall.

We got a good last-minute deal for another great weekend at The Quay. The revamped Spa was a relaxing end to the day, especially the massage, after a swim and sauna. Our room had an estuary view and a big, comfy bed. Dinner at the Ebb &Flow was lovely, with super wine and friendly, efficient service. An easy five-star review.

The hotel was so warm during a very cold, snowy weekend, and our room was clean and comfortable. Everyone made us feel welcome, especially with our dog Bayley. We’ve stayed many times as a couple, but couldn’t get our usual dog sitter this time, so we brought him along. There are only a couple of dog-friendly rooms. Thank you, everyone.
