Hotel Indigo Coventry an IHG Hotel

Right across from the station, so the location is very convenient. The hotel feels cosy and modern, and it was really clean, including the room. Everyone I met, from reception to the restaurant and bar, was kind, cheerful and happy to help. Breakfast was great. Definitely recommended!

The room was a decent size, clean and spacious, and being right next to the train station is handy. But for what I paid, I was disappointed with the service. The front desk could use more training, especially the short-haired blonde woman I dealt with. If check-in had gone smoothly, this would easily have been five stars.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the location is hard to beat: a short walk from the station, cathedral and city centre. I enjoyed staying at Hotel Indigo Coventry, with its boutique feel and rooms that mix modern comfort with details reflecting the city’s history. For another visit, I’d like a wider wine choice, ideally wines that are fresher and haven’t been kept in the fridge too long. Table service would also make dining feel better.

We skipped the restaurant, though it looked good, and had breakfast, which was lovely. The hotel is only a two-minute walk from the station, which was really convenient. Very nice place and especially good value at the weekend.
