The central location made it easy to get around Coventry, and the hotel was peaceful when I wanted to rest. After a busy day, my room was a great place to unwind: beautifully presented, spotless, very comfortable, and remarkably quiet despite being right in the middle of things. I stayed one night and had a meeting in the boardroom, which was private, ideally set up, and better than I’d expected. Lynne was efficient and helpful from my very first phone call, quickly confirming everything and arranging the room with care and discretion. The downstairs bar, café, and restaurant set a lovely tone before an evening walk. Everyone I spoke to was warm, professional, and genuine. I highly recommend the hotel and look forward to coming back.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but for this price range I thought the hotel was brilliant. The retro feel, furniture, and bathroom were all great. My room was spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, and the receptionists were excellent. There’s also a great bar for an evening drink and the location is fantastic. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Coventry again.

Jordan at the bar made me feel completely at ease when I came down for a drink and food on my first night. I was travelling alone for work and had picked the telegraph because I’d felt lonely staying in an air B&B before. Jordan was bloomin fantastic, and the chicken supreme was one of the tastiest dishes I’ve had in ages. I came back the next night and Jordan greeted me again, even remembering my drink order. She’s a real credit to the hotel. The world would be better with more Jordans in it ❤️

Breakfast had a good spread: sausage, bacon, fried and scrambled eggs, tomatoes, beans, hash browns, croissants, toast, jam, cheese, and meat. There was orange and apple juice, and the coffee machine made lovely hot chocolate. Staff were friendly and helped us out, too. Drinks at the hotel were quite expensive. Our room was clean, with some nice touches, a good sized bathroom, and comfy beds. The location was quiet.

My wife and I chose this hotel for a Valentine’s night out and were really impressed. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was super soft, and the staff were amazing, polite, and helpful. We’ll definitely come back this year.
