The owner made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at Villa Rothsay Hotel on the Isle of Wight. She was so kind and friendly. It's a beautiful house with real character. Our room was clean, comfortable and fully equipped, with a lovely view. The bed and mattress were excellent quality, and the shower was great. Breakfast was delicious too. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we'll definitely return! 😊 Cedric (France)

I had four excellent cooked breakfasts, which set me up for each day, and a really enjoyable four-night stay at Villa Rothsay. Margaret welcomed me warmly and looked after me with a personal touch you rarely find these days. It's a traditional small hotel, full of history, comfort, old-world charm and character. The sea views from my room, the lounge and the dining room were hypnotic. A real gem in a perfect, quiet spot, with parking and an easy walk to Cowes town centre and the sea.

Maggie is a wonderful host, truly one of the best at what she does. Her beautiful home has everything you could want, and the food is delicious. A lovely place, well worth a royal visit. Thank you, Maggie.

The sea views were beautiful, and the place was really quiet. I enjoyed my time at Villa Rothstay, and breakfast was delicious, so I wasn't disappointed. It's about a 10-minute walk into Cowes centre, though the hill up to the hotel is quite steep if you're not keen on walking. It's entertaining to watch all the boats crossing, too.
