John made us feel at home straight away, easygoing and welcoming. We had a lovely short stay at Inverardran guest house. The rooms were warm and lovely, and there was homemade shortbread waiting with the TV. Breakfast was delicious, with hot cooked food, plenty of cold choices, and options for lots of dietary needs. There’s beautiful scenery and hiking nearby, plus cafés about a 5-10 minute drive away. We hope to come back soon.

We only stayed one night on our road trip, but this peaceful place was a real pleasure. There was homemade shortbread waiting when we arrived, and the view from our bedroom was beautiful. Jon was a lovely, helpful host, and breakfast was incredible. We even spotted a red squirrel while we ate. I’d happily recommend stopping here.

After a very long day in the saddle, I really needed a rest, and Inverardran delivered. The views are spectacular, and the burn alongside the property is pretty and lovely to listen to. John knows the local community well and was happy to share what he knew, from local facilities to updates when we crossed paths in the hall or garden. The welcome was friendly, and the room was super comfortable. There’s dedicated, flat, level hardstanding for bikes, which was very useful. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, especially the black pudding. The B&B is run smoothly and with real enthusiasm, without it ever feeling like too much. Thanks again for a great stay. I’ll definitely be back, hopefully with my wife and friends on our next tour.

We were worried about getting to Inverardran Guest House on time after several road accidents during our summer 2025 trip. John told us he’d be ready whenever we arrived and gave us reassuring advice that eased our stress a lot. That thoughtfulness carried through the stay. He took time to offer advice, and breakfast was authentic and tailored to us. The rooms were cosy, and the bird feeding station was impressively large. John really is a super host. We’ll certainly return.

The breakfast was perfect, and the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. A charming interior and location too. Simply perfect.
