The spa treatment was very relaxing, and our evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. Staff were lovely throughout, including in the bar, and check-in was smooth and welcoming. It's an impressive old house in beautiful grounds, and the room was lovely with everything we needed and comfortable beds. We also had a very nice lunch, just sandwiches, but they were delicious. We couldn't use the pool, sauna, or other facilities because they were at capacity during half term. We hadn't thought about the school holiday rush when booking. We managed to get poolside at 5.30, but couldn't stay long before dinner. We come once a year for a birthday treat and enjoy our visits, so we'll be back, and might fit in a spa treatment between stays.

We had a lovely weekend at Redworth Hall. The staff were friendly, polite, and professional, and our room was spacious with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the evening menu had a great range of very nice dishes. The spa and gym were good, though treatments book up quickly and we didn't manage to get one. The hotel is beautiful and has a fascinating history. We came from Leeds, and it's a good base for a day at Beamish, about a 40-minute drive away. We've already recommended it, and family are staying there this weekend. We'd definitely return.

The food was tasty, the cocktails were amazing, and breakfast had a really good selection in a relaxed setting. Staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing felt like too much trouble. We had a spacious, comfortable room with a multi-jet shower and spa bath in the en suite. The surroundings were beautiful and the stay was relaxing. I was unwell, so we couldn't make use of the spa facilities, though they looked really good. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces. Highly recommended, 10/10.

We loved our stay at Redworth Hall Hotel. The staff were so helpful and made us feel welcome the whole time. There was loads of choice at the buffet breakfast, and it was beautifully presented. Afternoon tea was delicious, and the spa was wonderful. The massage was incredibly relaxing. We'll definitely come back.

We stayed in the old house, which had loads of charm, though it was a little tired. It's a beautiful setting with great staff and nice food. A good location for visiting Durham and Raby castle. Highly recommend.
