I’ve been here with my friend a few times, and each time the same really old guy who sits at the end of the bar collecting glasses has made inappropriate comments to my friend. I’ve raised it with the bouncers whenever it’s happened, but they just tell us not to come back for the night. His comments make my friend very uncomfortable. I find it disgusting that the bar staff and bouncers protect him. I don’t care if he’s old and vulnerable, it isn’t right.

I left The Boot and Shoe wanting to get out almost as soon as I arrived. The atmosphere felt hostile and unwelcoming to me, and the manager seemed arrogant and dismissive. Some of the staff also appeared uninterested in basic courtesy or customer service. The door staff added to the discomfort. Their manner felt intimidating rather than reassuring, and the whole night left a very negative impression. Based on my experience, I won’t return or recommend it.

I’ve been searching for a better karaoke bar all over, including Prague, Berlin, Dubrovnik, Gdansk, Sarajevo, Split and Benidorm, and still haven’t found one. Never expected this place to be the best. Great tunes and great staff ❤️😁😉🍻❤️

The owner treated me appallingly when I was visiting. I asked the DJ, who is the owner, when it would be my turn for karaoke. He then called me ‘entitled’ over the microphone in front of the whole pub and insulted me in front of everyone.

There were 24 of us out on a Thursday, and we arrived around 9pm but didn’t leave until 12pm 🤪🤪. The atmosphere was great, we sang karaoke all night, and everyone made us feel welcome 🎤
