Johnathan was a delight during my solo visit, helpful, accommodating and more than willing to go the extra mile. He knew the area well and suggested great local restaurants, hikes and activities. My bedroom was clean and well presented but still cosy and comfortable, and breakfast was stress-free, just what I needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this B&B.

Jonathan was a great host, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was great, with lots to choose from in the continental selection. Dartmouth town was an easy walk, just seven minutes away and easy to find. Excellent stay at Hill view house. I’d highly recommend this great B&B to anyone visiting Dartmouth, five stars.

The continental breakfast was huge and tasty, and the rooms have a quirky, stylish look. Jonathan was a fantastic host, friendly and extremely accommodating. I’d stay again.

The only drawback was parking, which is very limited on the road, and the drive behind the building is very small. Otherwise, this is a wonderful B&B, especially for the price per person per night. Some hotels nearby charge a lot more and aren’t nearly as good. It’s close to Dartmouth harbour, and the room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, with a huge modern bathroom. The owner, Jonathan, is very friendly and seems genuinely keen to help however he can.

Jonathan did everything he could to make our one-night stay a good one. We were in town for our son’s passing out parade at Britannia Royal Naval College. The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, and very quiet at night. The house is well located for getting around, and breakfast was superb. We’ll definitely stay here again if we return to Dartmouth.
