Hayot was so friendly at reception, and Kumar made us feel welcome every time. He was flexible about our stay and always tried to work around what we needed. We keep coming back and really do feel valued. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the central location works well for us. A mini fridge in the room would be handy. Thanks for looking after us on all our midweek visits.

The price is reasonable and being near the train station is convenient, but we wouldn't stay here again. The building feels very dated, was extremely cold, and needs redecorating. We had trouble with privacy and safety during both our stays. On our first visit, there was knocking at our door most mornings, which was especially frustrating because we work night shifts and sleep late. On the final morning, a man from reception opened the door and came into our room before I could answer. We had paid for and confirmed a late checkout. I was half asleep and confused, and felt unsafe. He asked if everything was alright and left. There was no inside lock on the bedroom door and no "Do Not Disturb" signs. My friend returned recently and found the same staff member at reception. At check-in, he asked for her booking number, then took her phone from her hand even though the confirmation was already open. He seemed to type and swipe around on it for no clear reason. She felt uncomfortable and asked for it back. That night she was worried enough to wedge a chair behind the door in case someone came in again. When she checked out, he insisted she write a "fantastic" review, stood over her watching as she did it, and only then let her leave. On our first visit he had also pushed us to leave a positive review before our stay had even begun. Looking back, that was a red flag.

I've stayed here for several weeks in total and expect I'll be back whenever I need to be in the area. The train station is right across the road, public transport is easy to reach, and local amenities are close by. It's an easygoing place with fair prices and a comfortable feel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and secure. Staff throughout are excellent, especially the warm, welcoming desk team who are happy to help with requests. HK, the manager, works incredibly hard and is dedicated to keeping customers happy. Thanks for a great stay, everyone.

Reshma at reception really helped make our stay feel personal. She was warm, knew the area well, and her suggestions for nearby places to eat were spot on. The rest of the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive too. We had a lovely time and would gladly recommend the hotel.

The location is ideal for the train station, and the road was quieter than I expected. The receptionist was friendly and the room was spacious. The building itself is lovely, though the room and the corridor leading to it look very basic and could do with updating. The short curtains let in too much light for a nap, and without net curtains I couldn't leave them open.
