The roast was the best I've ever had out, and you can tell the chef cares about the food's quality and the little details. Everything tasted so good. Great service too, shout out to Poppy. The atmosphere was lovely. You must visit!

The private car park is handy, though it gets tight when full, especially with a larger car. We stayed in a beautiful room at the front, and the village hotel felt really cosy. The staff were wonderful, serving lovely hot drinks, cocktails, local ales and lagers from around the world. Dinner was tasty with great portions, and breakfast was just as good and really filling. I'd give it more than five stars if I could. We'll definitely be back, thanks!

We came for a lovely stay with our extended family and will definitely return. The staff were fabulous, polite and helpful. Lauren deserves a special thank you for going the extra mile to make us comfortable. She was always smiling and so professional.

The place felt warm and welcoming without being over the top, and we felt relaxed and looked after. The food was exceptional and the service excellent. We did get woken by the beer barrels being delivered at 6.30am, but even so, it was a super stay. Thank you for a wonderful time and amazing food!

The room was pleasant and nicely designed, though a little tired. A fresh coat of paint would help, and the shower was tiny. The complimentary drink deal was restrictive enough that we didn't bother, so I'd rather it hadn't been offered. The car park is tight too. I'd call this a 3.5 rounded up to 4. We enjoyed staying at The Boot. They clearly work hard to keep customers happy, and the bar and restaurant are popular, with regular events and themed evenings. Sunday lunch is especially well regarded. If you're there on Sunday evening, check the restaurant hours because it closes early. The food gets lots of positive reviews; we thought it was good, but not outstanding.
