The staff made the evening feel relaxed and special, welcoming and attentive without hovering, and they clearly knew the menu and drinks. The beer selection was another highlight, with a good range for different tastes, from well-kept local ales to carefully chosen craft options that went well with the food. At Cross Foxes, the meal was outstanding, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The ingredients, seasoning and textures all felt carefully considered, and the attention to detail was clear. It was satisfying and genuinely memorable. I’d return without hesitation and recommend it for a great meal in a welcoming setting.

The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the lovely Sarah kept making us smile all evening. We were camping in this part of Wales and decided to pop in because it was close to our site. The food was absolutely beautiful. If we’re back in the area, we’ll come again. Thanks, Cross Foxes! ❤️

We had a beautifully cooked Sunday Dinner here yesterday. The pub was really well furnished and maintained, and the food was excellent. Our waitress, Cadi, was incredibly good at her job. She worked bilingually and was polite, patient and organised, keeping everyone's drinks, meals, reservations and table plans in her head. Very impressive.

I went with my 7-year-old and we both had a great time. The location is lovely, the food was tasty and came quickly, and the staff were excellent. I did run into a snag with the booking, though. I hadn’t managed to book on the website and had to go in person to confirm it.

We pulled in with our motorhome for the night and had Sunday dinner. The food was so good I forgot to take a photo of my main course. Service was just as good, everyone was cheerful and kept an eye on our drinks. We’ll definitely make the trip back, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. You won’t be disappointed.
