There are some strong points here: the service was great, you can tell they care about the customer experience, and it's very handy for motorways, places to eat and quick shopping. The room was otherwise very clean. Still, I noticed a faecal deposit in the toilet, quite far back near the start of the U-bend, which looked like it had been missed repeatedly by cleaning staff. At Kings Chamber gastro-pub, I picked a table that seemed to have been cleaned, but it had obvious food marks and was very sticky, so I chose not to eat there. I also wasn't keen on the two single beds pushed together. The gap down the middle was so noticeable that I basically had to sleep in one bed. That's why I'm unsure whether I'd return, given the beds and the build-up in the toilet.

The rooms are consistently clean and warm, and the food has never let me down. As a vegan, I can always find something nice to eat. The staff are outstanding, and I think the price is great value.

I slept really well. The room was quiet, fresh and clean, and it had been updated since my last stay. It was very comfortable. We also had a meal at the pub with friends and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

The pub and restaurant are close enough to walk to for breakfast, lunch or dinner, which was a nice extra. We had a great two-night stay, and the kids enjoyed it. The room was clean, comfortable and arranged well for our family of four. Fantastic hotel.

Just off the motorway, the location was ideal and still quiet. The room was standard for this kind of place, but spotless and had a comfortable bed. The pub attached to the hotel was decent, with good food and breakfast. A great stopover.
