Pete at reception was great and helped us out with local tips. Lucasz in the dining area was welcoming, friendly and such a cheerful presence. Breakfast was cooked to order with fresh ingredients and served hot. There was a good choice of cereal and continental food too. The room is lovely, really luxurious, and stocked with everything we need, including a fridge with complimentary treats and a whole box of tea, hot chocolate and coffee. The bathroom and shower are high-end and spotless. The location’s great, with the promenade out front and shops behind. I’m staying here right now and it’s been absolutely lovely. If you’re coming to the Isle of Man, stay here. It’s fabulous.

The cooked breakfast was fabulous, and the complimentary bits in the minibar were a welcome extra. Everyone on staff was helpful and welcoming. We spent four nights at this clean, modern little hotel right in the middle of town. I’d gladly recommend it and stay again.

Around 2015, I stayed at HOTEL HALVARD in MAN, right in the city centre, facing the bay and promenade where the strong Percheron horses pull their wagon. It was the best hotel experience of my life. I’m 84 and have travelled almost all over the world. Go!

The team made us feel special, and everyone was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was yummy, and dinner was delicious. It’s a lovely little B&B right by the beach and good value for the price. Make sure to book a room facing the water, since the rooms at the back can be noisy because of the club.

We stayed here while visiting the island for my son’s football game. The room was comfortable and spotless, the food was good quality, and there was a great wine selection. The welcome and service were excellent. Honestly, I can’t fault the place.
