Sunflower Lodge

The hosts were so welcoming, and it felt completely natural. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of cereals, fruit, seeds and a full English, served in a spotless dining area. In the room, I liked the small touches: drawers and a wardrobe instead of a rail, plus a mini fridge with little milk bottles and bottled water. There was also a nice range of teas, coffees and biscuits. It’s close to the town centre and the sea, with restaurants and pubs an easy walk away. I’d happily recommend it.

I’ve come back for a second stay at this B&B and have been really pleased with what they offer. It was a surprise to find out I’d actually been in the owner’s class at school! 🤗

The room was lovely and immaculate, and the breakfast was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that we felt at home straight away. I couldn’t have asked for more, and we’ll definitely return.

We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and the bathroom was clean and fairly spacious. Our room, number 7, was cosy and nicely decorated, with a sea view, though it was small and up on the top floor. Bear that in mind if stairs are difficult for you. Max and Ursula greeted us warmly when we arrived on October 9, and we already had the room code and key, so getting settled was easy. Breakfast the next morning was delicious: fresh orange juice was waiting at the table, I had a full English, and my wife had a bacon and cheese croissant. We’re looking forward to coming back.
