The cold in the long room was the only snag during our visit. The central heating was being upgraded, and I understand that’s since been sorted. Our niece Vicky had booked afternoon tea for my wife’s 73rd birthday, and the recently refurbished Manor house was spotless and comfortable. The new bar area looks smart, and the place has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. They could have used one more member of staff that day to help with the bar and meal service. We’ll be back for a catch-up and a few beers.

We had a fantastic night’s sleep in the beautiful Hepburn room. The bedding was lovely and warm, and breakfast was cooked just right. The staff were lovely too. The hotel is gorgeous inside and out, with a classy bar and great amenities. Congratulations to Isobel and Elliott on your new adventure, you’re doing really well. We look forward to coming back. If you’re considering booking, you won’t be disappointed. Catherine, dark hair, red lipstick 💋💋💋❤️❤️

I wouldn’t recommend ordering Guinness here. Mine had been sitting too long, so I stopped drinking it halfway through, and it made my friend throw up.

The speed hump is already far too big, and there are potholes on either side as well. I nearly grounded my car on the hump because the pothole behind it is hidden from view. Please get this sorted.

That farmhouse bread was lovely, and the bacon was good quality. I had a fab breakfast sandwich at the Manor House, with perfect coffee and a puppachino for our wuffa.
