The restaurant was busy, but the food was good and the service excellent. We loved the decor too, done in a warm country style. Everyone we met was friendly, professional and helpful, and the location is exceptional. We'll definitely come again.

The setting is absolutely stunning, the food was out of this world, and the staff were lovely. Tarr Farm Inn is a really cute, quirky place. I stayed one night, and my only criticism is that the guest rooms are dated and a bit tatty, and could do with a revamp. The rest of the pub is lovely. I'll definitely come back for food when I'm in Exmoor xxx

The location is amazing, right beside the Tarr Steps, the river and some excellent walks. The lane down to the Inn is narrow, but it's well worth the drive. It's an old, quirky building. My husband could take his mobility scooter to the main door, then there were three steps to get inside. There's one step to the toilets. I'm sure the staff would help if needed, and there may have been another option. We only ate at the restaurant, and had a fabulous lunch. The main meals were really special, with good quality, generous portions. We also saw a cream tea being served, and that looked generous too. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was cosy and warm. They provide towels for wiping dogs' feet. We'll definitely be back.

We stopped in for dinner and a pint at this amazing place in a lovely setting. They looked after us well, with excellent food and a well kept pint.

A beautiful pub in a gorgeous setting. The kids loved paddling in the river, and our lunch was just right, with ideal portions and chips to die for. The kids' menu was spot on too. Highly recommend.
