The cooked breakfast was a real treat, with local haggis, Lorne sausage and black pudding. The couple running the place are lovely, and it’s great value for a night while visiting Dunoon. I’d recommend it.

The hosts were so welcoming, and breakfast was wonderful. The room had its own bathroom and thoughtful extras, including tissues, a caramel wafer and a flashlight, plus a touch lamp beside the bed. The bathroom was well equipped, and the shower was the best I’ve had in Scotland. Couldn’t ask for more.

The location is stunning, and breakfast was 11/10. The hosts were incredibly accommodating too: after I checked out, they drove down to the ferry terminal with something I’d left in my room. Fantastic place.

We had a lovely stay with Helen and Nigel, who were excellent hosts. The guest house has a lot of charm, and our room was spotless and comfortable, with a pleasant view of the garden. There was a generous, tasty breakfast with plenty to choose from. We’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was amazing, and looking out over Holy Loch while we ate made it feel extra special. The food is locally sourced. Helen and her husband looked after us really well, with fruit and extra tea and coffee supplies in the dining area if we ran short. Our room was very well equipped: a TV, little fridge with courtesy milk, tea and coffee kit, plus two packs of cookies and two chocolate oranges. The shower and toilet were separate, and the shower had lovely strong pressure with hot water coming through surprisingly quickly. There’s good parking at the front as long as everyone parks sensibly. The rooms are exceptionally nice. Highly recommend.
